Introduction With the warm summer making its presence felt here in many parts of the United States, it is only logical to discuss a sport that is a favorite in snowy Nordic winters: biathlon. After biathlon events, normally all we see is the final ordering of athletes based on their finish times. However, this singular time only provides one value for a sport with multiple phases.
